Veterans for All Voters
State Leaders
State Leaders are on-the-ground advocates for election innovations in their home states. The situation on the ground is different in each state. For example, some innovations happen in the state legislatures while other changes can happen at the ballot box.
Idaho Testimonials
According to the VA, there are nearly 128,000 military veterans in Idaho. We represent 9% of Idaho’s adult population, which is one of the highest rates in the U.S. Some Idaho vets come from families that have been here for generations and some settled in Idaho after their service. We are as diverse and independent as our fellow Idahoans and care deeply about this great state.
"The Republican Primary in Idaho has and is becoming an exclusive club that has started to gain control of Idaho. I want to see a system that ensures the most voters decide the representatives to our government. Not just a small group."

"I agree that our nation is in, and continues to head into, dangerous times for all citizens. The damage that has been done to our national fabric will be difficult to repair. Sitting back and not doing anything to stop future damage is not a responsible action for a veteran/citizen. I have supported Reclaim Idaho and continue to support rank-choice voting. We are registered as Republicans since moving here just to have an option in primaries to vote for the least toxic candidate. The Idaho R party efforts are unclear whether that will be allowed for the 2024 primaries (voting & donations history.) I'd like to help."

"Have been working with Veterans 4 Idaho Voters since last fall, having been on several speaking engagements. What motivates me is the rapid, almost rabid, swing toward voter suppression, party bosses, and flirting with totalitarian memes evidenced by both extremes. Working toward OP/RCV nationwide would go a long way toward being able to elect an effective legislature. Now, if we could do away with lifetime tenures of Supreme Court justices..."

"I think it is critical for our election system, especially our primary process in the State of Idaho, to be reformed in order to select candidates for office that are more in line with the general electorate. I firmly believe that the ranked choice option is a perfect way to move candidate selection and success away from adherence to extreme views and policies to those more reflective of people of the state."
