"I agree that our nation is in, and continues to head into, dangerous times for all citizens. The damage that has been done to our national fabric will be difficult to repair. Sitting back and not doing anything to stop future damage is not a responsible action for a veteran/citizen. I have supported Reclaim Idaho and continue to support rank-choice voting. We are registered as Republicans since moving here just to have an option in primaries to vote for the least toxic candidate. The Idaho R party efforts are unclear whether that will be allowed for the 2024 primaries (voting & donations history.) I'd like to help."

What motivates me is the rapid, almost rabid, swing toward voter suppression, party bosses, and flirting with totalitarian memes evidenced by both extremes. Working toward OP/RCV nationwide would go a long way toward being able to elect an effective legislature. Now, if we could do away with lifetime tenures of Supreme Court justices..."
